the North American bison are one of the largest animals in the North American grasslands.
pronghorn graze in the grasslands. One benefit they have is their long legs so that they can race away from predators. Antelope, elk and bison also have long legs. All of these animals eat grass as well as the few plants that the grasslands produce.
